FIEN, LLC Subscriber
Service is available by e-mail to companies, trade associations,
consulting firms, professional membership organizations such
as societies and federations, government agencies, university
departments, and law firms with an interest in regulatory and
policy developments affecting the food and agriculture industry.
The annual fee for FIEN, LLC service is $2,136 per year. The
subscriber rate is negotiable, especially for professional
membership organizations (societies and federations), government
agencies and university departments.

Each organization that subscribes to FIEN, LLC service may assign
up to five members of its staff to receive at no additional charge the
information that we distribute. Each of the five individuals may choose
to receive information
in as many of the subject areas as may be of interest to each
individual. In other words, a person interested in food labeling, food safety
and nutrition may have their name on those and related lists; another person
interested in occupational safety and health may be on that list; another person
interested in clean air and clean water issues may be on those lists, and so
forth.
Another five names may be added for an additional per person annual fee of ten
percent of the annual fee paid by the organization, with a minimum
per person annual fee of $60. Additional names beyond these ten names may
be added
for an additional per person annual fee of five percent of the
annual fee paid by the organization, with a minimal annual fee of $60 per
each additional
person.
Trade associations and professional societies may also assign elected officers and committee leaders to receive FIEN, LLC information on the association or society subscription.
University Departments may also assign students with an interest in food regulatory and policy issues to receive FIEN, LLC information on a no charge basis.
In the event that two FIEN, LLC subscribers merge, it is expected that in the year following the merger, the fee paid by the merged company will be equal to the amount paid by the acquirer plus two thirds of the fee paid in the previous year by the acquired company. In the second year following the merger, it is expected that the fee paid by the merged company will be the amount paid by the acquirer plus one third of the amount previously paid by the acquired company.
An 8 week free trial
period is available only to qualified organizations, which are food companies,
trade associations, professional societies, university departments, government
offices, consultants, and law firms in the food and agricultural industry.
